Brew Guide: Make an Amazing AeroPress Coffee

Brew Guide

AeroPress

The AeroPress allows for precise control over the brewing process. It produces a clean, flavourful cup of coffee in just a few minutes. It is also easy to clean and can be used on the go, making it a great option for adventuring or office use.

Step 1 – WHAT DO I NEED?

AeroPress; Clean & Fresh Hot Water, Fresh Coffee Beans, Your Favourite Cup

Optional:
Coffee grinder

Step 2 – GRIND COFFEE

Level to the top, the AeroPress scoop holds about 16 grams. We need about 17, so just fill it up slightly above. Pour the beans into the grinder and start grinding. Keep grinding until you don’t feel any more resistance, or the ground size is like table salt.

Step 3 – PREPARE THE AEROPRESS

Preheat the chamber with some hot water. Put the filter in the brew basket and rinse it to make sure that there’s no paper flavours left behind.

Step 4 – ADD GROUNDS & WATER

Pop in your 17 grams of coffee into the AeroPress chamber. Wet the grounds with a little water and rest for 10 seconds. Add approximately 200 grams of water. We’re going to fill all the way up to the top. Stir the coffee with the paddle and put the brew basket on.

Step 5 – WAIT & PLUNGE

Rinse your cup while you wait. Let the AeroPress brew for about 2 minutes. Discard the water from your cup and place it on the top of your AeroPress. Flip it over and start to plunge slow and steady.
