Brew Guide: How to Make the Best Chemex
Chemex
The Chemex brewing method creates a clean, aromatic cup of coffee. Clear, flavourful and visually stunning.

Step 1
Fold the filter paper into a cone and place into the Chemex. Rinse the filter paper with some hot water to remove the paper taste. Discard the water once done.
Step 2
Use 40 grams of ground coffee for every 480ml of water. If grinding your own, the coffee ground size should be like brown sugar.
Step 3
Wet the grounds with some water and let it bloom for 45 seconds. Pour evenly in a figure of eight pattern. Pour water every 10-15 seconds until you reach 480 grams.
Step 4
When the brew is done, carefully remove the filter paper and grounds. Pour and enjoy.
