Brew Guide: Make the Best Pour-Over Coffee
Brew Guide
Pour-Over
The V60 pour-over coffee making method produces a clean, flavourful cup within 2-3 minutes.
Step 1 – WHAT DO I NEED?
Drip Kettle, V60 Dripper, Coffee Grinder, Cup, Jug, Fresh Coffee Beans
Step 2 – GRIND COFFEE
We need about 20 grams of fresh coffee. Keep grinding until you don’t feel any more resistance or the ground size is similar to coarse sand.
Step 3 – PREPARE
Rinse the jug with some hot water. Pour some water in the cup to keep it warm while brewing.
Step 4 – ADD GROUNDS & WATER
Pop in your 20 grams of coffee into the V60. Water should be off the boil. Wet the grounds slightly and allow to bloom. Wait approximately 15 seconds and start pouring. Pour evenly in a figure of 8 pattern. 20 grams of coffee will need 240 grams of water. Pour water every 10-15 seconds until you reach 260 grams.
Step 5 – POUR & ENJOY
Rinse your cup. Remove the V60 from the jug. Pour and enjoy.
