MEDIUM ROAST
We sourced these beans from the washing stations of Burundi’s northern Ngozi region.
The coffee growers in Ngozi are known for their innovation, tenacity and spirit. Coffee cherries cultivated on small family farms are sold to washing stations where they are processed and graded with meticulous care.
Washed and sun dried, the cherries are de-pulped on the same day of harvest. Parchment is then fermented for 10 hours then laid out to dry on African beds until it reaches 10.5% humidity. The main crop is harvested between March and July.
